Zhejiang Vermillion Import and Export Co., Ltd. designs and manufactures hand-pumped hydraulic pick up cranes for pickup trucks, trailers, service vans and small workshops. We are a Pick Up Crane Manufacturers in China: the range is engineered, welded, painted and tested in our Jiaxing plant before shipment through Shanghai and Ningbo ports. Because the crane uses a hand-operated hydraulic pump, it works on a truck bed, in a workshop bay or at a roadside job with no electricity, shop air or permanent installation.
Pick Up Crane Models We Build
We arrange the programme by rated capacity, boom reach and rotation so a truck operator, mobile mechanic or service bay can be matched to a specific working point instead of an oversized crane. The same base family covers 1000 lb and 2000 lb hand-pumped cranes; load levelers extend the range to 4000 lb.
| Model | Rated capacity | Configuration focus |
|---|---|---|
| OY5105A | 1000 lbs | Standard-reach arm for general truck-bed and bay lifting |
| OY5105A-2 | 1000 lbs | Compact-reach arm for tight bays and short beds |
| OY5105B | 1000 lbs | Balanced-arm geometry for controlled engine lifts |
| OY5105C | 1000 lbs | Hook-end arm for slings, chains and lifting eyes |
| OY5105P | 1000 lbs | Portable, foldable frame for field and mobile service |
| OY5105D | 2000 lbs | Hand-operated hydraulic pump for heavier drivetrain loads |
| OY5105D-2 | 2000 lbs | Adjustable-height mast for varying lift clearance |
| OY5105D-3 | 2000 lbs | Rotatable hoisting arm for repositioning without moving the base |
| OY5105W | 2000 lbs | Adjustable rotation for wide-swing pick-and-place |
| OY5201 | 1000 lbs | Lever-operated load leveler for angled engine removal |
| OY5202 | 2000 lbs | Load leveler for heavier engine and transmission assemblies |
| OY5203 / OY5204 | 4000 lbs / 2000 lbs | Heavy-duty and chain-secured load levelers |
Where These Cranes Fit
These are repositioning tools for vehicle and equipment service, not production hoists. They are selected where a load has to be lifted, swung and lowered within one bay, on a recovery vehicle or at a job site.
- Engine and drivetrain work: combined with an Engine Stand or an under-vehicle Floor Jack for removal, transport and refitting inside one bay.
- Truck bed and trailer service: the base bolts to the bed so the driver can load or unload machinery, generators or crated parts without calling a second vehicle.
- Small workshops and mobile vans: the foldable frame stores against the wall or under a bench when the crane is not in use.
- Machine and tooling movement: pumps, gearboxes, tool cabinets and tyre equipment can be skidded short distances and set down accurately.
- Load levelling: OY5201–OY5204 levelers keep an engine or transmission at a controlled tilt while it is separated from the mounts.
For a complete bay, the crane can be consolidated with our Shop Crane programme or with jacks and stands to reduce freight and logistics work.
Critical Specifications and Operating Boundaries
Rated capacity applies to the load at the rated position. The further the load hangs from the mast, the smaller the usable margin becomes, so the working point matters as much as the headline figure.
- Reach and lift height: confirmed against the vehicle or machine being serviced, not only against the crane footprint.
- Mounting: rigid bed or floor mounting is essential; timber decks and unsupported panels are not suitable anchor points.
- Swing: the swivel arm rotates 360°, and usable swing is set by nearby bodywork, cab, wall or racking.
- Stowed envelope: folded height and length are checked against tailgate, canopy and rack clearances.
- Hydraulic control: lifting comes from a hand pump; lowering is metered through the release valve for short, controlled steps.
- Load levelling: lever screw or chain-secured bar keeps centre of gravity over the hook while an engine or gearbox is drawn out at an angle.
Configuration Options and OEM Branding
As a pick up crane factory serving distributors and brand sellers, we build catalogue models and customer-specific versions.
- Boom type: standard reach, compact reach, balanced arm or hook end.
- Rotation and height: fixed, adjustable height, rotatable hoisting or adjustable rotation.
- Portability: rigid base or foldable frame for vans and mobile service vehicles.
- Branding: laser marked customer logo, custom colour box, carton and multi-language manual.
- Structure and parameter adjustment to regional standards and local handling habits.
- Exclusive development: prototype, sample, tooling, mass production and testing for a dedicated model.
Production, Quality and Compliance
Our plant runs a full chain from raw material machining to finished product shipment, with automated assembly lines and an in-house testing laboratory. That structure supports bulk orders and trial batches at consistent weld, paint and hydraulic quality.
- ISO9001 quality management system across production.
- CE certification on core hydraulic products.
- 100% full inspection through production.
- 30,000 m² factory area, over 34 years in hydraulic machinery, and exports to more than 34 countries.
Installation, Handover and Spare Parts
Installation is bolted assembly rather than a fixed installation, so the receiving workshop can complete it. We supply mounting guidance, hydraulic bleeding and commissioning notes, plus operation video tutorials for the end user.
Long-term support covers technical guidance, low-cost spare parts including seals, hoses, pump assemblies and hooks, and replacement of parts found defective on arrival. Cranes are shipped with the boom folded, the ram retracted and the base protected for container or LCL transport. Packaging scope covers the colour box or carton and the manual language agreed at order confirmation.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
Our engineering team prepares a model recommendation and quotation from the working conditions, not from capacity alone. These inputs shorten the gap between enquiry and a buildable specification:
- Heaviest single load and the distance it hangs from the mast.
- Mounting surface: truck bed, trailer deck, concrete floor or steel plate, with bolt pattern if fixed.
- Required lift height, swing arc and stowed envelope.
- Boom configuration preference and whether a load leveler is needed.
- Branding, packaging, manual languages and target market standards.
- Order quantity, trial-batch plan and container loading preference.
Frequently Asked Questions
What load capacities do your pick up cranes cover?
Crane models are rated at 1000 lbs and 2000 lbs, with several boom and rotation variants in each class. Load levelers extend the range to 1000 lbs, 2000 lbs and 4000 lbs for engine and transmission handling.
Do the cranes need electricity or compressed air?
No. Lifting power comes from a hand-operated hydraulic pump, so the crane can be used on a truck bed, in a workshop bay or at a roadside job without any external power supply.
How is the crane mounted and stored?
The base bolts to a truck bed, trailer deck or workshop floor through the prepared mounting points. The frame folds down when the crane is not in use, which keeps the bed or bay clear for normal work.
Can we order under our own brand?
Yes. We provide OEM and ODM service with laser marking of your logo, customised colour boxes and cartons, and manuals in languages such as English, Spanish, French and Japanese. We can also adjust structure and parameters for the standards of your market.
What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?
For standard models the MOQ is flexible and small trial orders are accepted for market testing, with bulk pricing for full-container volumes. Standardised automatic production lines keep bulk and trial shipments on schedule; the confirmed schedule is stated in the quotation.
