The second variable is exposure. Where grinding dust, welding spatter or falling debris is present, the enclosed-housing OY6603 shields the coiled hose when it is not in use, protecting both the hose and the retraction mechanism compared with an open-frame reel in the same conditions.

On the 20 m OY6604 the drum is sized to hold the additional hose volume while still retracting the full length evenly, without the bunching or resistance that appears on underpowered retract springs. Because bore and outlet dimensions are unchanged, the extended length does not reduce the airflow available at the tool.

Each reel ships with mounting brackets and hardware for wall or ceiling fixing. Position the unit so the hose drops vertically into the working area and retracts without rubbing against racking, lift posts or vehicle bodies.
