OY1305 Large-Basin Truck Oil Drain

OY1305 is a large-basin truck oil drain tool with a slightly greater weight specification than the OY1304 model, indicating a larger or more robust collection basin better suited to vehicles with higher oil fill volumes. The increased capacity reduces the frequency of emptying during high-throughput truck service days.

The basin material and inner coating are selected for durability in contact with engine oil, gear oil, differential fluid, and other petroleum-based fluids encountered in truck maintenance. Resistance to long-term chemical exposure helps maintain the integrity of the drain and extend service life.

The oil collection basin profile is designed to provide a wide catch area beneath the drain plug point, accommodating some variation in the drain flow direction that occurs with different sump designs. The wide catch area reduces the risk of spillage on the workshop floor during an unexpected flow deflection.

The wheeled base provides the same positional flexibility as the OY1304, enabling the drain to be positioned accurately under the vehicle's sump drain point and moved away when the oil has drained completely. The sealed transfer port controls fluid removal to a waste container.

OY1305 is recommended for workshops servicing a high volume of trucks and heavy vehicles, particularly where oil fill quantities are larger and the practical advantage of a bigger collection basin reduces service cycle time. It suits commercial vehicle depots, truck dealerships, and heavy-vehicle fleet service operations.
