OYM002 1500Ton Heavy-Duty Marine Jack provides 50% greater tongue load capacity than the standard model, making it suitable for heavier boat trailers, large caravans, and equipment trailers where 1000 ton tongue ratings are insufficient. The same galvanized tube construction and 50.5/44.5 mm tube diameters are retained, but the screw thread pitch and drive mechanism are upgraded to handle the higher static loads at the same operating torque.
At 1500 kg capacity and 10-foot travel, the OYM002 is dimensionally identical to the standard model, allowing it to be fitted to trailers designed for the same bracket standard without modification. This interchangeability is important for users who upgrade their trailer and need a higher-rated jack without changing the mounting point or jockey wheel bracket.
The corrosion protection on this model includes the same hot-dip galvanizing as the standard version, with additional zinc-rich primer applied to internal surfaces before tube assembly. This internal coating protects the screw mechanism from condensation and splashing that penetrates the top of the tube when the trailer is stored outdoors—a common corrosion pathway on marine-environment equipment.
The folding handle design on the heavy-duty model is reinforced at the hinge pivot with a thicker steel plate that prevents the hinge from fatiguing under the higher torque required to drive the screw against a 1500 ton tongue load. This reinforcement is not visible externally but represents a meaningful long-term durability improvement.
For owners of heavier trailers carrying larger boats, horse boxes, or commercial payloads who need a marine-environment stabilizer jack with a genuine heavy-duty capacity rating, the OYM002 provides the necessary load capacity without requiring a bulkier or heavier jack that would complicate installation on existing trailer hardware.
