The OY7002 pneumatic Long-Stroke Spring Compressor offers the same 590 mm maximum working length and 325 mm ram travel as the OY7001, but is equipped with an air-assistance feature that reduces the manual effort required to operate the compression mechanism, improving operator efficiency and reducing fatigue during repeated spring replacement procedures. This makes it particularly well suited to busy workshops performing high volumes of suspension service.
With the same 1-tonne rated capacity and 4 to 10 inch spring size compatibility, it covers the same vehicle application range as the OY7001 while adding the operational convenience of pneumatic assistance. The air-driven actuation component allows faster compression and release cycles compared to a fully manual tool, which translates to shorter service times per vehicle and improved daily throughput in a professional service environment.
The pneumatic cylinder is double-sealed and engineered for smooth, consistent operation under full load. The compressor is constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish, and the forged steel hooks are heat-treated for maximum strength and wear resistance. The wide, stable base prevents tipping during operation, and the compact design allows the unit to be used either on a workbench or mounted to a dedicated strut disassembly station.
