The Triple-Bag 3Ton Air Jack achieves a maximum lift height of 400 mm using three stacked pneumatic chambers. This additional chamber height makes it the preferred choice when lifting vehicles with particularly high ground clearance, such as lifted trucks, SUVs, and off-road vehicles.
The three-chamber stack creates a stable column due to the controlled way air is distributed across the bags during inflation. Each chamber inflates sequentially from bottom to top under supply pressure, maintaining a low center of gravity through most of the stroke and preventing the top-heavy instability that could occur with an improperly designed tall stack.
The wider base plate fitted to the OY4502-3 compensates for the higher extended height by increasing the overturning resistance at full extension. This base is specifically sized for the triple-bag geometry, making it larger than the two-bag model's base—a design decision that reflects the different stability requirements at 400 mm maximum height.
At the same 3-ton capacity rating as the two-bag variant, the OY4502-3 uses the same air inlet fittings and control valve, allowing both models to be used interchangeably with the same pump or compressor. This commonality simplifies operator training in facilities that keep both versions in stock.
The rubber bag assembly is independently inspectable—the three chambers can be examined individually for wear or abrasion damage without disassembling the base, making maintenance straightforward for workshop safety officers who regularly inspect pneumatic lifting equipment.
