OY2501 0.3Ton Compact Engine Support

The Compact 0.3Ton Engine Support is designed for supporting small engines and lightweight components across the vehicle bulkhead during minor service operations where the engine remains in the vehicle. At 0.3 ton capacity and an adjustment range of 1015–1380 mm, it covers the width of most compact and mid-size passenger car engine bays.
The bar extends to the two sill points or suspension towers on each side of the engine bay, distributing the supported load symmetrically across the vehicle body structure. Load hooks are attached to the engine via standard chain and hook connections, allowing the engine to be raised just enough to provide access below without full engine removal—significantly reducing service time for tasks such as transmission removal, gearbox replacement, and oil pump access.
The adjustment mechanism uses a threaded collar or sliding lock that changes the bar length in small increments, allowing precise fit across engine bays of different widths without requiring additional extension tubes or spacers. This self-contained adjustability makes the tool ready for immediate use across a range of vehicle models.
At 16 kg gross weight, the OY2501 is easy for a single technician to lift into position over the engine bay and adjust without assistance.
